The award-winning ensemble Serenade Duo featuring flutist Michelle LaPorte and guitarist Gerry Saulter captivates audiences worldwide with their engaging and informative programs, warm stage presence, and expressive playing of cross-cultural “Global Chamber Music”.

As performers, teaching artists, and advocates for “Global Chamber Music”, Serenade Duo has toured throughout the USA, Europe, Canada, and the Caribbean. They are concert and recording artists for Centaur Records, Miyazawa Flutes, Alhambra Guitars, RC Strings, Dieter Hopf Guitars, and Fishman Music.

As five-time Artists International Distinguished Chamber Music Award Recipients, the Duo has performed at Carnegie Hall and Merkin Concert Hall in NYC. Serenade Duo has also received a New York Council of the Arts Special Opportunity Grant, a Suffolk County Certificate of Appreciation for Diverse Community Programs, and they are three-time Chamber Music Finalists of The American Prize. For 2025, flutist Michelle LaPorte is an Artist Fellowship Grant Recipient through LI Grants for the Arts.
