The Puerto Rico Flute Symposium is a branch of the Puerto Rico Summer Music Festival designed to enrich the flute and music communities. This symposium uses masterclasses, panel discussions, and performances to enhance the contributions made by people of color and other minorities in the music field.

NEW SERIES: Music in Historical Houses

In their seasonal program titled, Autumnal Serenade, the Duo will perform a variety of lyrical compositions for flute and guitar from Argentina, Italy, and America. The program features tangos, milongas, fantasias, and suites created by living composers, as well as the Duo’s original arrangement of Laurindo Almeida’s beautiful Brazilian work, Autumnal Prelude.

Serenade Under the Stars

Enjoy an evening under the stars of contemporary flute and guitar music celebrating the beauty of Latin heritage, culture, and spirit. This program of works by composers from Brazil, Argentina and Spain features favorite classics by Heitor Villa-Lobos and Enrique Granados, alongside original arrangements of works by Astor Piazzolla and more!

Stargazing will follow beginning at nightfall (weather permitting).
